Johnson and Johnson Vision, the maker of ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses, does not conduct any animal testing on approved products that are already available, nor does the company use any animal derived materials in its finished products.
However, all contact lens manufacturers with devices in development that will use new material or processes are required by regulatory authorities to do a minimal amount of testing on animals to check for safety before placing them on the human eye.

Anadin Extra is suitable for Vegetarians/Vegans. There are no animal products in Anadin Extra.
Anadin Extra Soluble contains lactose from an animal source, therefore may not be suitable for people
avoiding animal products (especially vegans).
Anadin Original is suitable for Vegetarians/Vegans.
Anadin Paracetamol is suitable for Vegetarians/Vegans. There are no animal products in Anadin
Paracetamol.
Anadin Ibuprofen is suitable for Vegetarians/Vegans. There are no animal products in Anadin

All AproDerm products are suitable for vegetarians, including the following:
'The Aproderm Colloidal Oat Cream used to have in its formulation Xantham gum which is not vegan compliant, but the new Aproderm Colloidal Oat Cream formulation has replaced this component for a Vegan friendly one, so the new batches being released are suitable for Vegans.
If you can inform us the batch number of your product we can find out whether the one you have is suitable for Vegans.
Regarding the question about paraffin, for now the only Aproderm product paraffin free is Aproderm Colloidal Oat Cream.'
